New Horizons for Food Security & Agri-Education in South Sudan
CoELIB, in partnership with MDF Training and Consultancy and the University of Juba, is implementing the Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) Tailor-Made Training (TMT+) project titled “New Horizons for Food Security & Agri-Education”. Running from July 2020 to December 2021, the project enhances agricultural education, research, and training capacity to address South Sudan’s urgent food insecurity challenges and strengthen youth-led agri-enterprise development.

The project targets 93 assistant teachers (75 male, 18 female) and multiple Taskforce Groups at the University of Juba’s Faculty of Agriculture. Training areas include research methods, gender and entrepreneurship, business linkages, curriculum design, and modern pedagogy.
