Recently, Mr. Caleb Koyo, a radio presenter with CoELIB Radio (http://radio.coelib.org/) received the coveted “Media Personality of The Year” award ahead of four other nominees in the recently concluded ONIMI Awards Gala that happened on the 10th of December 2022 at Vienna Woods Hotel in Nakuru County.

This award recognizes the role of radio creatives in nurturing programming aimed at educating and entertaining listeners. The Media Personality of The Year hosts CoELIB Breakfast on CoELIB Radio every weekday morning from 7:00 am - 10:00 am. The show has a focus on positive youth development and highlights issues such as substance abuse and the role of the youths in governance.

CoELIB Radio remains a leader by creating programs that empower the youth with the requisite information to tap into and create socio-economic opportunities. The youth-run radio facility continues to expand its scope by tailoring resources to suit the different needs and niches of the youth while maintaining the centrality of youth aspirations throughout programming.
